Few references to Dr. Andrews can be found, other than he is listed as the first physician in Darlington, according to Williams' History of Pioneer PHysicians and in the Bowen History he is listed as Edward Andrews, the first doctor in Darlington. He was not found in any early census records or cemeteries, so speculation tells us he was not here long or died young and no stone.
